Founding Campus Launch Lead

Own CLC on the ground — ambassadors, campus access, student orgs, and launch week. Being connected at CLC is most of the qualification; we can teach the rest.

  • part-time · 5–10 hrs/wk
  • 15–20 hrs during launch week
  • 2% equity, no salary yet
  • must be at CLC

We're looking for a Founding Campus Launch Lead to own CLC on the ground.

Not marketing. Not content — someone else owns that. This is the person who knows which clubs meet on Tuesdays, who runs the intramural group chat, which table at the student center is always full, and how to get 300 people to try something in a week.

An app like this has one hard problem: the first campus. If there are twelve people on the grid, nobody comes back. You're the person who makes sure that doesn't happen. You'll work directly with the founder.

What you'll own

Ambassadors. Recruit 3–5 CLC students, each responsible for a corner of campus — a department, a club, a program, a building. Train them, keep them going, replace the ones who fade. This is the core of the job.

Campus access. Find out what CLC actually allows: tabling, flyering, filming, student org partnerships, club fair dates, room bookings. Get it in writing and stay inside it. Nothing torpedoes a campus launch faster than getting told to leave.

Student orgs. Build real relationships with clubs, program cohorts, athletics, student government — the groups where one person saying "get this" moves forty people.

The launch. Plan and run launch week: where we are, when, what we're handing out, who's working it, what happens if it rains. Then work it.

Signups. Own the number. Verified CLC accounts is the metric, not impressions and not followers.

What you learn. You'll be the person who actually talks to students. What confuses them, what they think it's for, what makes them delete it. That goes straight back into the product.

Later: when we open a second campus, you help pick it and run that playbook again. We haven't chosen one — it'll be decided on evidence, and you'll be part of that decision.

Who we're looking for

The honest version: being connected at CLC is most of the qualification. We can teach the rest.

  • Currently a CLC student, or just were
  • Already runs something — a club, a team, a group chat, an org, an event
  • Knows a lot of people across different corners of campus, not just your own program
  • Comfortable walking up to a table of strangers and starting a conversation
  • Can organize other people and follow up without being chased
  • Reliable in the unglamorous way — shows up, answers messages, does what they said
  • Can tell the difference between "people were nice about it" and "people actually signed up"

You do not need marketing experience, a business degree, or a résumé that looks like anything in particular. You need to be 18 or older, since the product is 18+ and you'll be representing it.

How we work together

You run CLC. You don't need approval to talk to a club, book a table, recruit an ambassador, or plan the week. Three things come to the founder first: anything that commits OhHi in writing, anything involving money, and anything about safety, verification, or what the app does with student data — those answers come from us, and they need to be exactly right.

The Content & Campus Lead owns what OhHi says and how it looks online. You own who's on the ground and what happens in person. You'll work together constantly — you find the people, they make them visible.

Time commitment

Roughly 5–10 hours per week now, rising to 15–20 during launch week in January. It's lumpy by nature: quiet while the product is being built, intense for about six weeks around launch. Most of it happens on campus, between and around your own classes.

Compensation

Straight answer, because vague equity talk is how people get burned. OhHi is pre-revenue and unfunded. There's no salary right now. What we're offering is 2% ownership in OhHi, on these terms:

  • Vesting: four years, one-year cliff. After twelve months, 25% is yours and the rest vests monthly.
  • Equity is in OhHi specifically — not Spark N Code's agency business.
  • It gets papered before you start.
  • If we raise or start earning, this role is intended to become paid, and we'll put what triggers that in writing.
  • If OhHi never becomes a company, you keep your work, your experience, and your credit.

Ambassadors you recruit are paid separately in stipend or swag — that budget is real and it isn't coming out of your equity.

What success looks like

Not followers. Not impressions. Not how many people said it sounded cool. By the end of launch week: a CLC grid with enough verified students on it that opening the app at 8pm is worth doing. We'll set the exact number together before January, and you'll own it. After that: students who came back the following week. That's the only number that means anything.

How to apply

Don't send a formal cover letter. Tell us who you are at CLC — what you're involved in, who you know, what you've organized before. Then answer one question in a few sentences:

If you had one week and a folding table to get 300 CLC students to try something new, what would you actually do?

We're much more interested in how you think about that than in what's on your résumé.
